I love music, and I'm really passionate about the positive impact it can have, especially on young minds! Not only is it fun, creative and beautiful to listen to, but it is also so beneficial to cognitive development, especially in children. There have been lots of studies carried out that display the correlation between learning music and positive intellectual outcomes in children. In this infographic that I made you can read a summary of some of the most significant positive impacts of music on children's development, and don't just take my word for it, do your own research!

My favourite thing about being a music teacher is watching my students gain more confidence and have pride in their acquired skills and progress. I have been so proud to see students who came to me as beginners now play confidently, achieve great marks in exams, and see their hard work pay off!
